Community

We’ve been actively engaging with the community since 2022. Through our information sessions and doorknocks of our residential and business neighbours, we heard you want attractive public spaces, vibrant outdoor plazas, and more opportunities to dine, shop, and socialise.

Our updated plans for our Neutral Bay site deliver on these aspirations, creating a welcoming and active town centre with a beautifully landscaped outdoor seating area and a new pedestrian link that invites the public into a dynamic new space from all directions. Feedback gathered shows that the community highly values the existing village atmosphere of Neutral Bay, with restaurants and cafes marked by the community as the most popular places to socialise

To support aspirations for Neutral Bay, we’ve made our proposal aligned with local priorities:

  • Vibrant public spaces: Creation of attractive outdoor plazas and landscaped seating, fostering social interaction.

  • Enhanced walkability: Improved pedestrian links and connectivity, making the area more accessible.

  • Increased dining and socialising: More outdoor dining, cafes, and restaurants for community enjoyment.

  • New homes: 97 apartments, with a mixture of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, new homes to support the housing crisis, including 10 affordable homes for the States key workers.

  • Parking: Parking will be provided for residential, retail and medical use.
