Since 2022, we've been actively engaging with the Neutral Bay community about the revitalisation of our site at 1-7 Rangers Road and 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay. We've hosted numerous information sessions and doorknocked our residential and business neighbours and gained some great local insights. We’re grateful to the community for providing their valuable feedback that we’ve worked to incorporate into our plans. 

After engaging with the community and North Sydney Council, we're pleased to share that the proposed design has been revised to accommodate affordable housing options. This revised design has been accepted via the Housing Development Authority through the State Significant Development Application planning pathway. 
This means, our plans have been updated to provide much-needed housing, including the provision of affordable housing for new homes specifically for essential workers, such as nurses, helping them live closer to where they work and serve their community.

Woolworths has a proud history in the North Sydney Council Area and our stores have been part of the community for many years and we are investing now for the future, knowing that we will be a part of the community for decades to come. We are excited about the opportunity to continue and build on this history and thank the community for their ongoing engagement throughout the planning for the development.
